Pool Party July 2006

A spontaneous get together last Sunday with Karli, Joe, Teresa, Narda (Teresa's sister from Honduras) and me in the pool. Robbie took the pictures, like all the others on this blog, of course, as well. First we had some cake (my lime pie and Joe's chocolate cake) and fresh coffee and then we all put our bathing suits on and cooled off in the pool. No rain, luckily, and since I put the cover on every day, the water was sparkling clear. We all had a really good, relaxing time. I plan to do another pool party soon, maybe in August, but latest for my birthday in September. Workwise it is a bit slow at the moment, which is just perfect, because I finally get to do some stuff I had been postponing (paperwork, cleaning out some shelves, etc.). Robbie is rather busy with waterboard stuff, there are some transitions which need to be organized, so she has to run around quite a bit. We have been seeing quite a bit of Macarena since she came back from the US, which is nice because she is so pleasant to have around, and also a lot of fun.

Goalkeepers sure don't have it easy ..

especially with turkeys and chickens walking in front of them!!!

And then there is the REWARD! Medals and trophies for the winners! Our friend Macarena did the honors and presented the medals to the very happy little boys of the village.
